WHAT IS PHYSIE?
Physical Culture (PHYSIE) is a sport for girls and women which aims to build confidence, good posture, fitness, strength and flexibility through exercise.
Physie has been established in Australia for 125 years, with over 130 clubs running across the country. The syllabus is a combination of basic ballet, aerobic warm ups, standing and floor exercises, and jazz dance, with routines performed to modern music. Physie is beneficial for all ages with fun-filled classes promoting flexibility, coordination, rhythm and teamwork.
The motto is MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO which means A HEALTHY MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY. And that’s what we’re all about!
